“ The "deli" area here is absolutely amazing. They have soups, pizza, hot bar items, a salad bar, juices made to order and it's all organic...AND it's delicious, fresh and flavorful. The grocery store itself is also great. Fantastic selection, great bulk area. Friendly staff. Good vibes. Highly recommend. ”
“ Great selection of fresh fruit & vegetables and made to order Smoothies @ Ashland Food Co-op in Ashland, OR. I met a dear friend here, who shops at this Co-op weekly. What a great neighborhood grocery store! They were well stocked and quite busy on a weekday afternoon. After shopping, we enjoyed our made to order smoothies in their small indoor cafe dining room. I would shop here again if I was in the area. The parking lot is pretty small and tight, but it's to be expected in the downtown Ashland area. ”
“ This co op has a great organic selection of foods! Best of all, it offers a soup station with multiple soups as well as a hot food station where you pay for your food by weight. This makes for a fast and yummy casual lunch option because they have water and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. If you are in Ashland and dont want to wait for a sit down restaurant this is a great place to eat lunch or get food to go. ”
“ I only shop at the co-op for my groceries. I have turned into one of those people! The conversion happened because the produce here just tastes so much better than other grocery stores. They try to get produce as locally as possible. If you try to shop in season, they also have some of the best prices because it is local produce and they tend to have a lot. Just stop by in the fall and see the large array of apples for a dollar a pound or late summer for the massive peaches that are also only a dollar a pound. If you don't shop within the season, I would say the produce is slightly more expensive than a typical grocery store. It can be a hassle if you like certain items year round. As someone who converted to trying to shop within season, the co-op is godsend! I also love all their diary products!! They have so many local cheeses, milks, yogurts, the works. The local diary doesn't upset my stomach at all. The co-op is amazing. It is a local hotspot in Ashland! Definitely recommend a try! ”
“ The Co-op is a classic Ashland gem. If you're visiting, it's a great way to see a cross-section of the people that call Ashland home (or second home arg) - naturalists, hippies, healers, gutterpunks, yoga moms, outdoor enthusiasts, trustafarians, retirees, college students, and transplants trying to fulfill some nonconformist bohemian vision in their minds (I kid, but seriously). The Co-op's selection of fresh, organic, and local products is unbeatable. The produce is always top-notch, and I love their variety of bulk items and high-quality meats and cheeses. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always offering great recommendations. The prepared foods are fantastic, with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, and the salad bar is always fresh. Plus, it's a joy to shop at a store so committed to sustainability and supporting local suppliers. Highly recommend for anyone who values quality food and community! ”
“ they have good food - chili soups I like Smoothies and juice drinks are great nice customer service folks The hippie vibe is still alive at The Ashland food co-op lol - from the hippie foundations, when the first hippies arrived in 1968 -69 I was a kid growing up in Ashland, so I remember when the hippies arrived. Fun fact: kids weren't happy about the hippies from Haight Asbury San Francisco, taking over our park lol ”
“ Small co-op with nice selection of produce, meats, bulk products, refrigerated and cleaning products as well as a decent health section. They also have an area where they have a daily variety of premade burritos, sandwiches, fruit smoothies, and coffee and non-coffee based drinks as well as a small buffet area whose menu changes daily. A small inside seating area and larger area outside are available to sit and enjoy your food. Breakfast and lunch are fairly busy and parking can be challenging at times but staff is very nice and food is pretty good. Pricing in the store for some things can be a little higher than some other stores but quality is excellent and many local products are available ”
“ Gayle and I stopped at the Ashland Food Co-op twice last week during our long delayed return to Ashland. The first time was for hotel provisions (wine and sparking water), while the 2nd time was for a sandwich (me) and salad (Gayle) for Lunch. Included in there somewhere were a few toiletry items, a good look around, and buying a cool little shopping bag to haul our purchases out. The Ashland Food Co-op continues to be a convenient supply stop and a meal alternative to a fast food, counter, or sit down meal experience. Service remains efficient and friendly, with a nice selection of what we could be looking for. ”
